Ray Kent    Bio     Artist Statement   Gallery            I believe it is both the photographer’s challenge and responsibility to create an experience for the viewer, and not just an image on paper.  If my photographs don’t elicit an emotional response, I’ve failed.  I want the viewer to see what I saw, and feel what I felt, when I looked at the scene or subject I photographed.  I photograph a variety of subjects.  I have had the opportunity to visit many interesting places.  I want the viewer to come away feeling as if they have been there with me.
