| | Hello Friends, Another excellent exhibit is coming up next week, featuring a visiting artist from the Big Apple, Michael Murray, six Gallery Partners, two Artists-in-Residence, and six Guest Artists,,,, D. G. Adams, Tim Hack, Joel Krenis, Dave McKenney, Dan Nolan, and John Retallack. The opening reception is Friday, February 1, 5-9, at Image City. That evening is also First Friday Gallery Night, and shuttle buses will be transporting guests to twelve galleries, Image City being one of the stops. Come if you can..... bring friends if they are interested in an enjoyable evening... Here are the full details: WHEN: January 30 to February 24, Wed to Sat 11-7, Sun 12-4 WHERE: 722 University Avenue, where Oxford hits University, in the Neighborhood of the Arts WHO: Michael Murray, a visiting artist from the Big Apple WHAT: An exhibition of excellent images from Bosnia WHY: To see a part of Europe that many Americans had hardly heard of before the Winter Olympics in 1984, which were held in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia. Next time Bosnia was in the news was during the tragic war between the Bosnians, Serbs and Croats in the 90s. BONUS #1: Free Artists' Reception on Friday, February 1, from 5-9....you will find not only excellent images (by the Featured Artist, the Gallery Partners, the Artists-in-Residence and Guest Artists), but also food and drink and many interesting people. That night is also First Friday Gallery Night, and there will be four shuttle buses taking people to eleven other galleries....free ! One of the buses starts at Image City at 6 PM and there will be a bus there to pick up passengers every twenty minutes.
