| | Our next show opens on Wednesday, April 23 featuring a provocative exhibition by Jim Hartsen, who invites you to participate with the comments: "I honestly don't remember taking most of my photographs, but I do remember the feeling I had being there... My desire is only to capture the subject, the light, the texture, the feeling as I encounter it on the voyage. If you too feel the feeling, then you, the audience, can 'Dance with the Universe'." Jim had spent four summers with renowned photographer Minor White. The Artists' Reception is Friday, April 25 from 5 to 8:30pm. Jim's Artist Talk is Tuesday, April 29 at 7pm. In the East Gallery is an exhibit by 10 photographers from the Eastern Monroe Career Center: Sulyn Bennett-Hennessey, Kate Lapier, Rachel Simmons, DJ Hyatt, Ana Emily Monaco, Kayla Voellinger, Staci Kupper, Lea Necheles, J. Willoughby, and Logan Scalise. Four additional Guest Artists include fine photographs by Cheryl Bennett, Jim Marron, Don Menges, and Max Rempel. Additionally, you will see work by the Gallery Partners and the gallery's Artists-in-Residence, Gil Maker, Jim Patton, and David Perlman. Twenty-five photographers will certainly show you a wonderfully broad range of photographic art.
