Dear Friends,
We are pleased to announce the next show at Image City Photography Gallery titled Reflections by the featured artist Stanislaw Goc, known as Slawek. He lives in Indianapolis and has described his work by saying "Through my life, I have sustained an intense relationship with the natural life of the city...", which you will see in his work with his striking "reflections." In the East Gallery, Slawek will also present his still images in a video production set to the songs of Chopin and Italian Baroque masters. In addition to the gallery exhibit, select photographs are also exhibited at Edibles Restaurant and Starry Nites Cafe, both just down the street between Image City and the Memorial Art Gallery, all in the "heart of the Neighborhood of the Arts".
The show is further enhanced by the work of fourteen photographers -- Guest Photographers Josh Bulriss, Ray Kent, Joel Krenis and Mark Whitney; Artists-in-Residence Gil Maker, Jim Patton, and David Perlman; and Gallery Partners Daniel P. Crozet, Dan Neuberger, Betsy Phillips, Gary Thompson, Phyllis Thompson, Sheridan Vincent, and George Wallace.
The opening reception is on Friday, August 15 from 5 to 8:30pm and we would love to see you there.
