Grackle in a Locust Tree

The bare branches of the honey locust tree formed a pattern against the evening sky.  It is early spring. The branches are about to bud.  A grackle lights on one of the branches in its search for food.  The smooth profile of the resting bird is emphasized by the angular flow of the tree limbs.
