Exhibition Opportunities Image City Photography Gallery Image City Photography Gallery, located on Rochester’s ARTWalk in the heart of the Neighborhood of the Arts, was founded in 2005. The partners of the Gallery exhibit and promote their work and that of other photographers. The Gallery seeks diversity in photographic works and encourages the submission of portfolios for exhibition. The Gallery offers photographers the opportunity to rent exhibition space for their work. Wall space measuring approximately sixty feet is available to individuals or groups of artists for four-week featured exhibitions. In addition, display panels located in the Gallery interior are available for individual artists. The Gallery also offers opportunities to exhibit photographs on its website. Participating artists are asked to contribute toward opening reception costs: Wall Artist(s) - $90 and Panel Artists - $25 or a food dish of comparable value. Printing costs are the responsibility of the wall exhibitor and the Gallery. Minimum printing would be 150 posters and 2000 postcards. Typical printing costs total approximately $360 of which the Gallery will contribute $150. Postcard and poster design and printing are the responsibility of the Gallery. The Gallery will promote shows free of charge through its exclusive e-mail list to more than 2000 recipients. Extensive notifications via press releases are made as well through personal and group association e-mail lists, submissions to community newspapers and calendars, and strategic distribution to numerous select retailers. Participating artists are encouraged to also promote their exhibition via their own communications and mailing. ICPG Gallery On-Line - The Gallery exhibits photographers’ on-line galleries on its website. Once accepted by the Curatorial Committee, artists can have their own on-line gallery to exhibit and sell photographs. The fee is $8 per month for up to 27 images and $12 per month for 54 images with one-year commitments for each of the two options. ICPG Monthly On-line Exhibit - The ICPG Monthly On-line Exhibit will be available for a rental fee. Dedicated to photoessays, reportage, and creative on-line presentation of photographs, the Gallery encourages submission of portfolios for this alternative exhibition opportunity -- to be available by mid-year 2008. ICPG Themed Shows - Periodically, the Gallery exhibit is based on a theme. The Gallery jurors will select from photographs submitted by all photographers for the exhibition. Display of an artist's work is contingent upon acceptance by the Gallery's Curatorial Committee.
